Acolyte Coordinator
  • Provide training for acolytes. Provide a schedule for the acolytes and assistants (parents), and inform the church office for the bulletin. Serve as acolyte assistant when needed. Be responsible for candle lighters, tapers, altar candles, and acolyte robes.

Adult Christian Education Team
  1. Plan, coordinate and communicate the educational program on Sundays and other adult Christian Education programs and small groups.
  2. Provides leadership for Sunday School teachers and/or class leaders to support weekly studies, special Bible studies, combined classes as well as communication and resource sharing among classes.
  3. Lead the planning and presentation of the 'Summer Series' combined adult Sunday School program in July.
  4. Coordinates educational retreats and seminars.

Capital Campaign - Advance Commitments/Major Gifts TeamThis team will work with the church staff and campaign directors identifying and cultivating potential major donors.  This will involve telephone calls, personal visits and coordination of face to face meetings with campaign lead team and senior minister.  If necessary, small group meetings will be arranged in order to create the best environment for the 'ask'.

Capital Campaign - Children/Youth Team

This position(s) is usually best filled by a ministerial staff person. Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing an interactive stewardship event for the designated age groups.
  2. Creating a prayer emphasis exercise or event for specific age groups.
  3. Coordinating stewardship education during the opportunity phase of the campaign.
  4. Leading by example in making financial faith commitments.
  5. Guiding the 'goal setting' for the designated groups and implementing plans to reach those goals over the three-year giving period.
